Our founder, Caroline Berube, got the chance to meet Alejandro Malgor at the Young Global Leader Summit in Dubai last week and he is truly a source of inspiration for all our young entrepreneurs! Ale and Caroline are both alumni YGL.
Ale and his 2 business partners, all former Argentinian rugby players, turn, since 2013, old tyres into sneakers and these shoes are manufactured at the San Felipe Mendoza prison.
Wonderful example of a sustainable business, recycling rubber, while creating a social impact by rehabilitating prisoners giving them opportunities to build a brighter future once their term is over.
