United Nations Conference on Trade and Development e-trade for woman entrepreneurs has been encouraging women entrepreneurs to venture into the e-commence marketplace.

The Middle East has historically had fewer online consumer-oriented e-commerce businesses than other regions of the world.

Mona Ataya set up Mumzworld in 2011 selling over 300,000 products for babies, children and mothers in the Middle East.

She says her new role as advocate for women allows her to share her experience, knowledge and expertise to inspire women in the Middle East and worldwide.

United Nations Conference on Trade and Development e-trade for woman initiative is supported by the Governments of Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
